Elizabeth Mary Murdock-BergFisher River Cree NationJune 12th 1971 - October 27th 2008 Surrounded by her loved ones, Elizabeth Mary Murdock-Berg of the Fisher River Cree Nation left this world to enter into the spirit world at the age of 37 years, at 1:45 am on October 27, 2008 at the Grace Hospital. Elizabeth was born on June 12, 1971 at the Women's Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Left to cherish the memory of Liz are her precious sons, Dallas Prince, and Allan Berg; her father David Murdock Sr.; her mother Sharon (William) Sinclair; her only sister Norma who will miss her so much; brothers, Gerald (Tracey), David Jr. 'Sonniboy' (Nanci), Calvin (Crystal), Raymond 'Moose' (Ashley), Arnold (Janet), and Stewart; also many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; special friends, George Berg (husband), Albert Prince, and Kevin McPherson; also many family, and friends that are too numerous to name. We will always remember Liz for her funny sense of humor, her crazy laugh and her jokes that were not always funny but we laughed anyway. She loved her sons dearly and the memories they have of her will remain with them forever. Liz also had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews; always teasing and joking around with them. Liz was predeceased by her Grampa Joseph McKinney, KooKoo Mary Tukundum; Mooshom Norman Murdock; KooKoo Elizabeth Shorting; aunts Dianne, Doris, and Mary; uncle Albert; friends Corrine 'Toni' and Penny. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital ICU, and at the Percy E Moore Hospital. Also to the many family and friends who showed support and love to Liz in her final days while in the hospital. A sacred fire was lit at the residence of David Murdock, and all were welcome to attend. Submitted by Candace Robinson. |
