Nettie Hummingbird Woman and Others.

Nettie Hummingbird Woman (Granny Hummingbird to close friends) passed to the lands of our Ancestors on June 26th, 2008. She was 107 years old.

Granny Hummingbird was my best friends Great Grandmother, and was going to teach me the ways of the Dreamwarder next spring.

In the 1960's she was one of the group of Native Americans who took over the island of Alcatraz. It's hard to believe this kind, caring, and loving spirit had such amazing strength of body and mind.

I would have done this sooner if I had found this site then.

Gentle Spirit, you will be greatly missed.
